Abstract

The concept of culture refers to lifestyle social group: its ways of acting or thinking, his relationship with nature, man, technology and artistic creation. Intercultural today knows a certain vogue. It is said that access to the culture of the other through language that is not only considered as a linguistic code. So it is not enough just to talk the language but we also know how to use, you must speak to that culture “learn” becomes “understand”. Indeed, learning to communicate is learning to communicate culturally. It is for this reason that we have to teach learners Algerians communicate with the other, to accept what he says, to know themselves
better and to see beyond the prejudices and stereotypes. Today intercultural communication is considered a challenge, a new challenge: the more you know the culture of the other, the better we managed our communication. However, we must teach students to know their own culture or “mother culture” and open to other cultures first. Language and culture are closely linked: the language is soaked culture, every language is a carrier of culture. The language is not only an instrument of communication. In language there are also social practices, it is a reflection of cultural reality.
