Keywords:

Our intervention revolves around the synchronous oral writings and asynchronous on social networks. More precisely on facebook: a network social very popular with young and old alike from all over the world. We propose here to observe the language practices and discourses on the languages in Algeria of the users of this social network. In this context, we we are asked about knowing if the language practices plurilinguals online are similar – in continuity – or different – in break – with the practices observed in oral interactions in front of face. Having ourselves a facebook account, our audience is made up of our "amis1": students, teachers, lawyers and others. We propose to analyze interactions, written and/or oral around languages in Algeria. Indeed, the statutes of Algerian languages are a controversial topic on Facebook that connects several concepts: languages to (aux) the national identity(s), the name of the languages in presence at the representations generated by these same languages and the representations of
languages in presence and their actual use(s) – face to face or in line. Our objective is therefore twofold: on the one hand, to study language practices plurilinguals of Facebook users; and on the other hand, discover the representations of Algerian face bookers on languages in presence in Algeria.
