Keywords:

This article deals with the linguistic practices in Algeria : it raises up the question of the Algerian French which we want to explore through various social communities and to begin with a corpus that we collected from students at the university.
Our objective is to make a description as precise as possible of this variety of French., by highlighting the riches and the potentialities of this “young talk” which gives an account of a necessarily more complex sociolinguistic reality. We apply that the phenomenon of the “young talks” then, seems to relate to mainly an urban students population, relatively bilingual which
plays on the alternation of languages, but still unrecognized and without status in the urban landscape, official of the Algerian city, but which would have to be described and affirmed, to release itself finally from French of France seen as a single norm, and from the processes of the reduction, linguistic and symbolic, which follow.
