Abstract

This text, which combines literary reading and sociolinguistic questioning, allows the author to revisit the texts of Isabelle-Mahmoud Eberhardt, in order to ask what games, conscious or unconscious, this writer used to construct her gendered social identity, linguistic and scriptural.
