Abstract

It is certain that the explosion of technologies has an influence gigantic on the tongue. It is even likely to cause observable phenomena of linguistic evolution. Information and communication technologies (ICT) have done born of various means of communication: SMS, Chat, forums of discussion, email,...) that connect the world whole by ignoring the borders and distances that separate them. They become a true mediator whose emergence of a new kind of discourse "Computer-mediated communication"
(C.M.O) is remarkable. Its use has given a new form abbreviation of the written communication. French used by young people makes purists shiver: It is spelling mistakes, typos, a grammatical structure incorrect, a male punctuation used, neologism and invention new strategies that allow them to compensate for the absence of rules of the language of Voltaire as well as the success of a shorter, faster and totally airtight communication for the uninitiated. So, a less standardized language, more subjective, playful and individual! This contribution aims to identify and analyze the linguistic techniques of French adopted by young Algerians, users of this modern writing, in the new mode of communication: The Chat!
