For a problematization of the 'bilingual writings' in Algerian Francophone literature

Abstract

The present contribution concerns the problem of Ŗthe bilingual writingŗ
(Lagarde, on 2001; on 2004), situated in the crossing of the sociolinguistics
and the literature, in the literary works of three French-speaking Algerian
writers: Mammeri, Dib, Djebar.
It is a question of showing that the text in French is Ŗworkedŗ by statements
of the language of the origins (Arabic and/or Berber), according to a number
of modalities of integration (xenisms, loans and traces) receiving these stakes
in writing:
Ŕ during colonial period, register at the heart of the texte Ŗa speech of insideŗ
and speak so to say the world of the colonized;
Ŕ during postcolonial period, to show the pluriculturality of the Algerian
society denied by the Governing power.
