Abstract

This work is in the field of urban sociolinguistics, it discusses the sociolinguistic representations that young urban traders languages and dialects they encounter. We opt for an exploded methodological approach, where they will be combined four investigative tools to explore several sites in the city of Constantine. The nature of their work provides these young traders the opportunity to be in contact with an urban multilingualism often moving and renovation. The “city” space becomes, in this case, a favorable development of their language practices and their epilinguistic discourse context.
