La langue « double » chez Malek Haddad

The spread of the French language in the colonies gave rise to a Frenchlanguage
literature produced by the colonized. In addition to mastering his
native language, the colonized practices, now, a second language, the
language of the colon. It is interesting to see how this appropriation of the
dominant power language was made and what relationship will be established
between the two languages.
To that end, we will rely on two novels of Malek Haddad La Dernière
Impression: The Last Impression and Je t’offrirai une gazelle: I'll offer you a
gazelle, in which we analyze the appropriation of the French language and
the work carried out by the author on this language. In fact, he shapes his
writing in order to highlight the influence of the native language on the
adopted language. He instills his native culture into the French language
through different linguistic processes. We define in this case, the language as
