Retour sur la formation des enseignants de langues : Quelle place pour le plurilinguisme ?
Keywords:
modalities of teaching and learning, plurilingual practicesAbstract
The expansion and development of social mobility, professional and academic in its real and virtual forms has powerfully contributed to renewing the perspective of teachers and learners of foreign languages on the modalities of teaching and learning concretely experienced in their environment. In the light of this observation, plurilingual practices continue to spread in most countries and are beginning to be taken into account as a fully-fledged didactic objective; as shown by recent work of the Council of Europe. The role and place of language teacher training in this process is examined here, with some suggestions to encourage teachers to take into account the plurilingual dimension in their teaching.
