Keywords:

Trilogie méditerranéenne of the Tunisian-Canadian writer Hédi Bouraoui is representative of the migratory writings that establish a true poetics of the in-between. This is manifested in a writing which is characterized by the mixture of genres, by its polyphony and by many formal aspects proper to the writings of exile. And, in particular, through nomadic and transcultural thought, which gives the work its ideological dimension. Refusing binarism and cleavages, Bouraoui's writing challenged the hegemony of American imperialism and rejected the idea of a single root identity. Hence the human and universal significance of his work.
