Heterogeneity in Meddeb and Khatibi: when scriptural space becomes the place of realization of the in-between.
Keywords:
heterogeneity, the in-between, plural writing, othernessAbstract
Contrary to the first works of the Maghrebian authors who needed to assert their membership and made a point of holding
up a line proudly, in order to it oppose to the colonizer, Meddeb and Khatibi convene their genealogy in order to illustrate the
heterogeneous one. Their writing is a true invitation with the opening, the wandering and the uprooting. Through their texts,
these writers theorists disconcert the reader, obliged to revise and re-examine its reference marks and its practices of reading.
He must learn how to circulate between the plurality of spaces, speech, readings….Confronted with the embracing magma that
it has of the evil to decipher, the reader will end up understanding that the interest of these texts them “difficulty” -
resides mainly in their constant and infinite interrogation on the writing. A writing which these writers cannot differently
conceive than like perpetual and indefinite creation into continual renewal of its form
